OKC Memorial

We are on our way home…it’s been a good day.

Wake up call was at 4 am, breakfast at 5 and we left at 6 am. These kids were great about being on time!

After a long bus ride, we stopped in Dallas, TX for lunch at the Galleria and then made our way to Oklahoma City to perform at the Memorial and tour the museum. While there, we were fortunate enough to meet an SVHS alum from the area and an OKC firefighter (Hunter Noeller’s uncle) who was on the scene the day of the OKC bombing.

After the museum, we had dinner at Spaghetti Warehouse. A great way to end such a memorable trip.

Dinner at the Riverwalk & River Cruise

We are on our way back to the hotel after a fantastic day! The kids ate do wet at several different restaurants, but the overwhelming choice was the Rainforest Cafe. The adults chose to eat at Joe’s Crab Shack. Good eats!!

The evening ended with a very nice cruise of the San Antonio River.

It’s been a great trip and the students have been great…we are definitely sad to leave San Antone.

Alamo Performances

We spent the morning performing at the Alamo and touring the Shrine. We just finished lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe, and the kids are now exploring the Riverwalk and the Rivercenter Mall.

Tonight: boat cruise on the river.
